5G is seemingly all the news, all the focus and all the budget for Mobile Operators. Today's initial 5G deployments are radio solutions that leverage the existing 4G core. These are primarily mmwave point to point backhaul solutions. Accuris Networks customers are leveraging these for improved performance and cost for their Carrier Wi-Fi deployments. Yes, 5G and Wi-Fi co-exist quite nicely. As demand continues to spike within Carrier Wi-Fi networks, end-to-end performance improvements and enhancements are necessary.
